Join us as 78th President of the Michigan Jaycees, Gerry Boik, shares his thoughts on fellowship to wrap up conference. Lodge-crafted buffet includes chilled orange, apple, and cranberry juice; breakfast breads with butter and preserves; sliced seasonal melon; home fried potatoes; fresh biscuits with sausage gravy; crisp smoked bacon and sausage; farm fresh scrambled eggs; buttermilk pancakes with warm maple syrup; and fresh brewed coffee and assorted tea.

UPDATE as of 3/31/15:The room block rate of $80/night plus resort fees and taxes currently ONLY applies to Friday night lodging. ONLY family suites are included in our group rate. Saturday night rooming prices may vary at this point, since we have used our entire block for that night.

One family suite includes four free passes to the water park. Up to two more people can be added to each room for $30 a person per night, which includes a water park pass.

Booking Policy
Deposit Policy: We are a pre-deposit resort. At the time of reservation, we will charge your card for the first night's (or only night) lodging plus taxes and fees. Any remaining balance will be collected at check-in. Personal checks are accepted for advance deposits only. Checks are not accepted for reservations within 4 weeks of arrival.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your reservation, you have up to 72 hours prior to arrival to cancel with a $40 processing fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival result in full forfeiture of your deposit.

Check-in 4:00 p.m. or as your room becomes available. We require guest checking in to be at least 21 years of age. The credit card holder, the credit card used at the time of booking (in case of incidental charges), and a photo ID is required upon check-in.

Friday Schedule:

  • Dress Code: Casual dress code. Jaycee T-shirt is suggested.
  • Finance Committee - 12:30-2pm
  • Board Meeting - 2-3:30pm
  • Friday dinner – on own.
  • Programming interviews and Competitions - 4-7pm
  • Registration open from 6-8pm and from 10-11pm
  • Welcome Party: From 6-8pm near registration. We will have light appetizers and a cash bar.
  • First timers will be at 7:15pm
  • Opening Ceremony: 8:00-10:00pm
  • Activities: from 10pm–midnight - Lip Sync Battles and Kentucky Derby themed fun!

Saturday Schedule:

  • Dress Code for Business Meeting and Training: Business Casual
  • Business Meeting: 8-9:00am
  • Training Morning Sessions: vice president, president, new member and general sessions.
  • Lunch: on your own - you can use this time between the end of training and dinner to explore the Traverse City area or head to the water park!
  • Performers Reception (invite only): 5:00pm
  • Dinner and Award Ceremony: Suggested dress code will be semi-formal or Kentucky Derby theme (ideas at Buffet dinner beginning at approximately 6:30pm. Awards will begin around 7:45pm.
  • Activities: More Kentucky Derby themed fun and dancing!
Sunday Schedule:

  • Fellowship breakfast – 10-11am (requires additional registration)
  • Board wrap - 11:15am-12:30pm

Anthony Colletti
United States Junior Chamber National Vice President

Over the past fourteen years as an active member in the Junior Chamber, Anthony has held numerous leadership positions such as Local Chapter President, District Director, State Financial Advisor, State Administrative Vice President, Illinois State President, and National Treasurer with the United States Junior Chamber twice and is currently serving as a National Vice President. He has spent most of his time in the organization developing other members’ skills in financial management and other training topics. He has trained well over 200 hours on behalf of the organization. Anthony has been recognized on the national level five times for his outstanding work for the Jaycee movement. He has been recognized by JCI as a Certified National Trainer and has trained numerous JCI courses all across the Nation.

In August 2009, Anthony was named one of the Ten Under Forty in McHenry County, Illinois for his involvement in the Jaycees and other charitable organizations within his community, including serving as Treasurer for the Wiseman Philanthropy Fund which focuses on assisting in the positive transformation of the lives of children in the United States and abroad through the use of time, talents, and treasures of the board. In 2010, he was nominated for Crain’s Chicago Business’s 40 Under 40 award.
