June? Is it really June?!
We had a great time together at May conference and are looking forward to more district mingling throughout the summer months. Summer in Michigan is awesome. I hope you are all able to enjoy it as much as I plan to. I’ll be having fun with family, barbecuing and visiting chapters.
Of course we’ll be helping the Allegan Jaycees at their beverage stations at the Renaissance Faire – contact Stacie Gratz to get signed up. Participating in the Relay for Life Grand Rapids is always a good time too. And let’s not forget about the Parties in the Park with the Muskegon Jaycees – Dani LaFleurcan hook you up with that.
Hopefully you have heard District 2 is looking to bring the Kids Kicking Cancer program to west Michigan. By combining our Jaycee resources we can make it happen. Join us on June 30 (5:30 p.m.) at the Mitten Brewing Company (527 Leonard St. NW, Grand Rapids) to find out how you can be involved.
JCI is celebrating 100 years of the Jaycee movement – empowering young active citizens to make a meaningful difference in our communities. Let’s do this!
