Chief Operations Officer Tom Quackenbush - Jan

Another year is in the books and I am looking forward to helping everyone “Ignite Your Passion” in 2016 as the Chief Operations Officer for the Michigan Jaycees.

So… What’s Next? Join us as the Michigan Jaycees celebrates your successes and accomplishments of 2015 at the Year End Gala!  The Friday night theme is Thrift Shop Formal. Who can put together the best look with vintage or recycled clothes? We will also be celebrating the third trimester with awards and recognition. Saturday night is the Presidential Gala. Find out who is truly the best of the best at our 2015 year end recognition ceremony. This all takes place February 19th through 21st at the Grand Rapids DoubleTree.

Remember, President Matt Sernau issued a challenge to the Michigan Jaycees to close out 2015. We are happy to say that we achieved statewide growth and will be enjoying some free beer Saturday night. Now, if we have 200 registrants, the free beer challenge will be upgraded to a full open bar for the Saturday evening celebration (10 p.m. to 1 a.m.).

Early Bird Registration has been extended to Friday January 15th. Click here to register!

We are still looking for sponsors for this event; if you or anyone you know might be interested in being a sponsor, please contact me at tquackenbush@mijaycees.org and I will send you all the information you need.

The first 2016 Leadership Conference is scheduled for May 13 through 15, 2016 at Mission Point on Mackinac Island. Join us on the island to show everyone how you started to “Ignite Your Passion” in 2016!
